³⁰ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus ^(A)sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows about this!”

⁴ Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: ^5 (A)those who are blind receive sight and those who limp walk, those with leprosy are cleansed and those who are deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the ^(B)poor have the ^[a]gospel preached to them. ⁶ And blessed is ^[b]any person who ^(C)does not ^[c]take offense at Me.”

The Pharisees Rebuked

^22 (A)Then a ^(B)demon-possessed man who was blind and unable to speak was brought to ^[a]Jesus, and He healed him so that the man who was unable to speak talked and ^[b]could see.

³⁴ Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him.

¹⁴ And those who were blind and those who limped came to Him in the temple area, and ^(A)He healed them.

³² And they *brought to Him one who was deaf and had difficulty speaking, and they *begged Him to ^(A)lay His hand on him. ³³ And Jesus ^(B)took him aside from the crowd, by himself, and put His fingers in his ears, and after ^(C)spitting, He touched his tongue with the saliva; ³⁴ and looking up to heaven with a deep ^(D)sigh, He *said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!” ³⁵ And his ears were opened, and the ^[a]impediment of his tongue was ^[b]removed, and he began speaking plainly.

Healing the Man Born Blind

9 As Jesus passed by, He saw a man who had been blind from birth. ² And His disciples asked Him, “^(A)Rabbi, who sinned, ^(B)this man or his ^(C)parents, that he would be born blind?” ³ Jesus answered, “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was ^(D)so that the works of God might be displayed in him. ⁴ We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me ^(E)as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. ⁵ While I am in the world, I am ^(F)the Light of the world.” ⁶ When He had said this, He ^(G)spit on the ground, and made mud from the saliva, and applied the mud to his eyes, ⁷ and said to him, “Go, wash in ^(H)the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he left and ^(I)washed, and ^(J)came back seeing.

Conspiracy to Kill Jesus

⁴⁷ Therefore ^(A)the chief priests and the Pharisees ^(B)convened a ^(C)council meeting, and they were saying, “What are we ^[a]doing in regard to the fact that this man is performing many ^[b](D)signs?
